Canelo is an ATG and that’s because of his resume and accomplishments. Can’t argue facts. Has the best resume in the sport bar none. Resume wise he is the greatest of all time coming out of Mexico and that’s a huge huge accomplishment from a guy out of a country with such a rich boxing history. The fact he isn’t done and will only add to an already legendary career is crazy, but I’m here for it. Like I’ve said before, it’s not everyday we get to witness greatnessComment

People hate him for some reason when he has actually done more than most.

Chenko would chew up everyone prime GGGG fought (his MW run)
I guess the one knock so called fight fans have against Nelo, as opposed to worshipping GGG, Nelo can't fight everyone at the same time.
Maybe he should have made a lame AF promise like GGG did

His resume is smoke and mirrors most of his biggest name opponents were 35+. The best prime fighter he has ever beaten is Plant.

Exactly, the double standards are laughable! Canelo is supposed old and washed for not KOng Ryder and GGG, but nobody talks about how Benavidez couldn’t KO Plant or Andrade. Canelo’s 35 year old opponents were old men yet 35 year old Andrade was a young 35 year old. Canelo been fighting nothing but bums, including Plant, yet when Benavidez fought Plant, it was a dangerous fight. Charlo was undersized even though he was much bigger than Canelo, yet Andrade and LeMeiux who had no business at 168 and looked like midgets next to Benavidez, now those were good even fights.
Whenever the term Casual is thrown around it immediately devalues whatever point you are trying to make.
Oracle would be the first one claiming Andrade was 35yrs old and Canelo just beat a washed out Bum.
All of a sudden Benavidez is some sort of god killer which will decimate a ATG in Canelo.
It’s the fight to make next for sure but the double standards around here is criminally funny.Comment

When was the last time GGG was wobbled, knocked down, hurt? Never. John Ryder would make Andrade his b.itch. John Ryder at least went there to win and gave his all, Andrade went there to collect a paycheck and QUIT after a knockdown.
Benavidez wouldn't have stopped 40 year old GGG, he couldn't even stop Plant, he's not undersized LeMeiux. 35 year old GGG mauls Benavidez.Comment

Alvarez has not had a big domestic Mexican fight 'Barrera vs Morales, De La Hoya vs Vargas, De La Hoya vs Chavez, De La Hoya vs Hernandez.
Barrera vs Morales and Vargas vs Del La Hoya were the best match ups out of all of those fights.
Note: I don't think Alvarez needs to fight Benavidez to prove his greatness, but? An all Mexican passionate title fight would be a great event for his career etc.

Doesn’t make any sense.
Canelo is clearly and obviously at the very least one of the greatest Mexican fighters ever.
Probably #1 in all honesty.Comment
