It's flat out not the same money for either one. Andrade, as much as I said he was overrated, at least was a world champion with title defenses, and the Olympic medalist. He's a far more known quantity than a guy with 9 fights, and to say otherwise is simple delusion. Much easier to put on a PPV. And considering that the PPV flopped anyways, it's an even harder sell now. Only a few boxing regulars know Morrell at all. Just look at how dismissive NSB is. He's got zero pull at all with the casuals, and you need the casuals to get a sniff at a PPV. That's the money for Showtime right there.

I agree that Benavidez needs to fight Morrell sooner rather than later or it will get better and better for Morrell. He's a dangerous guy.

If he fights canelo's and benavidez leftover, he ain't getting credit for, he needs somebody with name or beat the leftover bad.

They should be getting this guy fights, even mismatches, so he can keep showcasing. He had only 2 fights in 22, and 1 only in 23. Get him on the undercard for big fights.

154 was his best, it didn't carry up to 160. He is also a basic 1-2 guy even more basic than Benadivez.

He had a really good showing against Derevyenchenko at 160. Then he looked bad against Montiel.

How do you know they are not doing that? Besides you're missing the whole point, benavidez say "YES" already, what bigger boxer at SMW than him beside canelo? And a few weeks ago he said if ginger doesn't fight him, he would fight Morell Jr, he's the WBA mandatory there's no looking back now, no matter what you think he has to face the top dogs.

The only time he won a belt from a champion was against old cotto, all others won their belts in vacant contests, they never took the belt from a real champion, and definately not against a world class fighter. It was always a set up.

Morell jr is been hated, do to the fact the haters see what 99% of the boxing community is seeing, he is pretty good with a heck of an amateur pedigree, didn't left his best years in Cuba and was put on the fast track since his second fight. That's what's happening. He's a big draw in Twin City, and you don't how hard is to get him fights. Same thing happened to Rigondeaux, Gamboa, Ortiz and Lara.
