Roy Jones by stoppage. I don't even think Calzaghe would make it out of that first round with a prime Jones.
The Jones Calzaghe fought had already been koed/stopped and had no legs left and perhaps only 50% of the speed he once had. The fight went 12 rounds because Calzaghes style is sort of made for Jones only he was to washed up to overcome it.
You can make a case for the Hopkins fight, since Hopkins is in a lot better shape at 45, but even that fight I don't see Calzaghe winning prime for prime.
EVERYONE knew this before these fights were made, I don't know why people are acting like he defied the odds or something.
Dude, all these who wins in there prime threads are just guesses. No one really knows, But I think it would've been a good one. Like Emmanuel stewart said," Roy has never seen Speed like this". In Calzagh's prime he could pack a punch, not devasting power, But he was heavy handed. Roy speed and power are still there I think. It's his timing and reflexes that aren't as good, But still very do able. Calzaghe I thought dominated so easily that he may just have beat Roy in his prime. Calzaghe has a durable chin. He's been down , But I've never really seen him hurt.
