Well damn, February 17, 2024 is the fight and today is November 22, 2023. That's almost 3 months down the line 12 weeks. How much time does Fury need to get back in shape? If he stops eating donuts all day and starts running, hitting the bag, sparring then all of that could come together and get him back into top shape. Fury looked like a whale in his last fight. Talent alone will not be enough to beat Usyk. It will take talent and hard work.

As John said..the only way to put on the muscle for Tyson is a proper course...and 3 months isn't enough time to do it. Im sure by course he means juice and they cant cycle it in such a short time.

Fury has had a pretty great career, marked by the trilogy with Wilder and the win over Wladimir.

I'm not sure how much desire he has to continue boxing for much longer.

The fight with Usyk is attractive, a rematch with Ngannou and a potential clash with Joshua seem like the only fights he may still have.

Muscle? Since when has Fury had a muscular build? Sure he could've been in better shape but the truth is he wasn't training for Ngannou as if he posed any kind of threat. He was partying it up, enjoying himself and figured he could come into the ring in any shape and still win easily. Clearly, he was horribly mistaken. Now, is Fury on the slide? It's quite possible but I think his lacklustre performance against Ngannou had more to do with him not taking him seriously than him losing a step.

I hear what you're saying but if his win over Klitschko is a highlight of his career that's kind of sad. Regardless of the outcome, that has to be in the top 3 list of all time most boring heavyweight title fights.

Only because power is the last thing to leave when you age. Fury was never a powerful boxer though, he relied on his speed and reflexes...

Strange because everyone was attacking Usyk for saying he prefers a 15 week camp

There's more than a "bit" of a decline.

There was a large decline when he became obese and a drug addict for 3 years, his comeback was inspired but he was only ever 80% of what he was prior to the layoff. Since then he's gotten worse, far worse.

Fury now is flat footed, can't move anywhere near how he used to, his stamina seems to be going, he's not as versatile and he looks like a fighter going through the motions.

It's part of the reason Usyk vs Fury just doesn't excite me, I think Fury would have a big chance of losing to Zhang, Hrgovic even a Frank Sanchez.

If Usyk becomes undisputed off simply beating AJ and Fury, put another way a guy who just lost to Andy Ruiz and then a guy who just lost to Francis Ngannou,

you have to say that is the easiest route to undisputed ever. If Usyk then retires after that as I expect him to, then we will honestly never know who was actually the best fighter of this era at heavyweight because none of them fought each other.
