That Fury/Ngannou fight has exposed that the situation with a lot of boxers being overhyped and not really fighting anyone is even worse than initially thought. Claiming Wilder is the 2nd best HW is a perfect example, he hasnt beaten anybody currently ranked in the top 10, his career defining wins from 15 years in the pro game are Ortiz and Stiverne, who were both old as **** when he beat them. Not even singling him out either, the same applies to most of the current HWs, they've beaten virtually nobody. Its all smoke and mirrors.
Wilder can also box past his jab and win a clear decision. I know that because he did it against Stiverne.

Wasnt Otto Wallin basically living off of giving Fury a decent fight? didnt Wilder get called legit on the basis that he dropped Fury a few times across a trilogy? so we have gone from Fury is an ATG unstoppable h2h monster to hes a bum now, right? interesting...

Wilder dropped Fury...How many times? Fury only survived because he had a great ability to recover.SUBZER0ED likes this.

It's annoying how some people would take you to the top of the world with praise after one win (or in this case a decent performance) and take you to the bottom of the pit with one loss (or a bad performance). Teddy is one such person who's got to have a strong opinion on everything and a lot of the time it is about himself.
Ngannou had a decent, better-than-expected performance. Let's first see him fight a couple of top-10 guys and see how his average performance is before claiming who is better and who is not. Wilder is a specialist, not a generalist. Not everyone would agree with that philosophy but only time will tell if Ngannou can achieve a fraction of what Wilder achieved in boxing.
