"It doesn’t matter how many top-notch names he knocks off"

Has he knocked off any yet?

I was just thinking a week ago that Boots may very well be a champ at 147 (maybe even unified champ), without fighting any of the previous generation of fighters.

I don't know if Boots beats Crawford or the other way around, the only way that can be answered is in the ring. What I find hilarious is that people criticize Boots saying he hasn't beaten anyone and there's truth to that. The problem I see is that Crawford himself took about 10 years of wasting his career fighting no one to only finally beat a dehydrated Spence and now all of sudden he's put on a pedestal. Call me when Crawford gets back to back wins against top notch competition with fighters that are 100% and not dehydrated, only then he will earn the right to pick and choose who his opponents are....

Bud doesn't want that fight, even though it's the best one out there for him to take.

If this were Floyd, they'd accuse him of ducking.

Jaron should be staying busy keeping his name buzzing instead of waiting on fights. Because his buzz definitely ain't the same as it used to be.

You know Boots is on the wrong side of the street. Isn't that still a good argument?

Different day, same ol' hypothetical fights.

At this point, they should be taking bets on avoidance rather than actual boxing.

People today say Boots hasn't fought any good fighters. People have said for Bud's entire career that he hasn't fought any good fighters. If that's true, then there must only be around 3 or 4 "good" fighters around, because Boots and Bud have fought a combined 70 or so guys. Boxing is cold. You have to be disciplined constantly, punish your body training, dieting, making weight, then u have to get hit upside the head. And most likely, you'll never be considered as "good" by the fans. In fact, most of the time, you'll be called a bum and a nobody lol, Meanwhile, a lot of these same fans have no chin, smoke a pack of Newports a day, drink whiskey and gin, can't do 50 pushups, 25 sit ups or run half a mile without feeling close to death. But this truth about themselves probably never crosses their minds when they're saying boxers are bums and nobodies. Cold world we live in...
