i think cause clottey don't want to be thought of as a 154 lbs.... he knows all the money is at 147 lbs.

That is true but Clottey can still make decent money against Quintana and go back down to 147 after that. A victory against Quintana will help his resume and increase his value in the boxing market.

That is IF he wins because it would be an interesting fight on which both fighters have a really good chance to win. I beleive that Quintana can outbox him unless Clottey makes a major increase his punching activity. We all know that he doesn't throw enough punches.

151 was fine. Clottey come in above 160 pound fight night. 4 pound over the limit will help him.

it's bad enough with 20000 weight classes already so these catch weight fights are a joke & hurting boxing! Why have weight classes then? 147-154 is 7 pounds.either fight at 147 limit or 154...this is so ******!

2 pounds Forbes must be comin' back soon ......as of late it seems everything is revolving around 2 pounds......Floyd 2 pounds over......Cotto and Pac got the 2 pounds under the WW limit going......now these 2 are fighting 2 pounds over the WW limit....2 ****in' pounds might sound small but its NOT!!

I do not remember who it was against (I think Corrales), but I beleive he came in at 170lbs fight night also.

Well 149 serves Clottey better than Quintana but I'm sure 2 lbs won't make a HUGE diference.

I agree, 149 sounds great. I believe both should move up to 154 after this.
