If I was Clottey I would have made this a 147 fight. Cquintana really isn't ina possition to complain, and would not have any other options.

It was Quintana that originally rejected the offer to fight Clottey because they wanted more money and it was Clotteys team that stepped up with more money and the weight stipulation so the evidence points to Clottey being more desperate than Quintana. Quintana was set to fight on Oct. 24 in Puerto Rico either way and, moreover, he owns a couple of businesses on the island so he is not in dire straights.

They both do, and this weightclass bullshht is getting annoying, now everyone is using it to their advantage.

Clottey once said that he will go up in weight to fight Kermit because Kermit wanted to go to Middle weight, now someone in Middleweight wants to fight him and he wants a catchweight.. wth.

I thought Clottey was the shht.

He already had an option, he just turned it down because this was a better one, but he did had a set fight in Oct 24

Exactly what bigger options does Clottey have? His team is the one searching for potential fights everywhere. Wasn't he the one that called out PWill after the Cotto fight and got turned down for a Pavlik fight? Then he said he'd fight Cintron at 154 and didn't get that. The potential Mosely fight got shot down also. Quintana had a fight set at least. Looks like Clottey is the one seeking a fight against a recognizable name not Quintana.

Why is this fight even on HBO WCB?

Quintana? Really? Is this what he gets for pulling out of 2 seperate cards. An HBO date? Booooo

That is IF he wins because it would be an interesting fight on which both fighters have a really good chance to win. I beleive that Quintana can outbox him unless Clottey makes a major increase his punching activity. We all know that he doesn't throw enough punches.
