That would be a career move for Boots as well. if he could find himself into that bigger picture, he can start making his own legacy on the game.
I think all the belts are gonna be split up soon, Bud moves to 154 & will be done at 147 officially any time now as he should be as he chases the bag on the way out of the game, & I think Boots moves to 154 before all the belts get in one guys hands again. I'd take Boots over anyone at 147 esp if Bud ain't there tho.
I mean it took yrs for the 3 belts on Haymon's side of the street to get in Errol's hands & Errol was Haymon's guy. And I don't think Boots is in Haymon's good graces like Errol was so a unifying fight would be huge for Boots to get imo.
If they do break up the belts at 147, I hope we don't have to wait 10 years to see Boots unify. There's a lot of Crawford in him as far as I am seeing, so I hope he doesn't sit around doing the mandatory thing.
154 is about to get convoluted af.

10 seconds would be easy. Karen showed the blueprint and he wasn’t even that fast.
Besides, I’m basically a cruiserweight with a healthy cut.Comment

Karen wasn't fast? Karen is damned near the fastest thing on two feet, like trying to catch a rabbit. At least against Boots he was. Against other people, he doesn't move nearly as much. Karen is wayy more faster and skilled than u realize. If not, he would have taken a nap like everybody else didComment

Skilled, absolutely. Fast? Not really, Boots was catching him. But Karen had a solid chin about him.

The hate with you is deep. So deep that you have to insult me while attempting to reinforce your point.
Neither Spence nor Bud had any interest in fighting Boots. Bud is on record saying he will not fight Boots.
So which champion should Boots fight to “earn” a belt at 147? I expect your response to be yet another hateful toxic rant hence my description of you.

I would have told the IBF to go f.c.k. yourself.
seen as I'm a classy fighter with high standards and something thats missing today in general.....
morals.
I'll fight for the vacant IBF belt thank you very much, against the next best fighter, whoever it is, who's up next after me in the rankings.Last edited by ptek; 11-14-2023, 01:08 AM.Comment

Spence had the belt for a while for sure. But he was also involved in 3 unification fights since then, and also was injured. IBF gave the sport the time and grace to get a full unification by not stripping the guys everybody wanted to see fight for it. Now the fight has happened. It’s time to move on. We have an undisputed champ. IBF did the right thing, and I wouldn’t mind the rest of them stripping him too to give the guys who have worked for their shots a chance at the titles.
Why would Bud want to defend all those belts anyway ? He will forever be 2x U disputed. He don’t need them.Comment
