This guy is getting media attention without any scheduled fight. Pathetic sport.

We have an undisputed champ. IBF did the right thing, and I wouldn’t mind the rest of them stripping him too to give the guys who have worked for their shots a chance at the titles.

Why would Bud want to defend all those belts anyway ? He will forever be 2x U disputed. He don’t need them.
I understand what you're saying but the ibf knew there was a contractually obligated rematch. It's not like Email Ennis is fighting SOMEBODY worth a damn anyway. It's funny to me how he never petitioned the wbo to get a shot when he was under them. Oh well.

Imo, the ibf is just like the wbc and wba, crooked af. Wasnt that long ago when they were raided cause of their corruption.

There is way more money for IBF to allow Bud to keep the belt and collect sanctioning fees for his next defense, So idk about “corruption” causing this, as if Boots has some deep pocketed backers to pay off the IBF. IBF has done pretty damn good at 147 riding Spence PPV defenses / unifications against Garcia , Garcia , Porter , and Bud. I think out of all the sanctioning bodies you’re most likely to get your shot if you are IBF mandatory, and they follow their own rules significantly more than the other 3.

and in regards to a contractually obligated rematch, that has nothing to do with them. You can have a 5 fight rematch deal, doesn’t mean the sanctioning bodies have to allow the belts to be held up. They did the right thing by stripping him. The guys coming up in rank also pay (smaller) sanctioning fees to get ranked and become mandatories. They deserve their shots too.

we got an undisputed champ. Not much more you can ask for.
