U are some pretty dumb MF'ers, Crawford said he had no interest in fighting guys like Boots Ennis and was looking for legacy fights that paid well also. He fights Spence again and it may be a little harder at a heavier weight but he'll win and win financially and with Jaron that's high risk low reward, but you DMF'ers don't get or understand the business side of the sport nor do you all care as long as a MF'er do what you all want. So we already know that Ennis is the next man to beat. i don`t think Crawford will fight at 147 ever again, he likely moves up, for Spence rematch or Charlo/Tszyu fight.

The only way I see Bud staying at 147 is for Tank. Personally I want to see Bud vs. Tszyu at 154

I'm not mad at this move either. However, the IBF was lenient with Spence when it came to mandatories. Other than Ocampo, what other mandatory did he ever face? Did we ever hear about an order to enforce Ennis as mandatory, and for both parties to work out a deal?

This decision implies that Spence/Crawford may be happening at 154, and maybe Ennis has recently gained some powerful friends.


Additionally, the IBF should also be stripping Jermell soon.

I fw the business side of things tho. Bud cried for years everyone was ducking him. Now he’s doing the same to the next man up. Trinidad took on Vargas AND mayorga basically in the EXACT same position bud is in rn. Tito was too dog at 147 and was looking to move up. He didn’t have to fight Vargas or mayorga many thought he’d lose against both younger undefeated lions. That’s what REAL hofame fighters do. Boots won’t get him paid as much as a canelo fight but it’s top 3-5 money-making fights for crawford. If he’s staying at 147 there’s absolutely no reason to duck this fight unless he’s not confident he can win.
