He comes off looking like that because he’s confused at what to say. His handlers have created a “top bloke/there’s a good lad” image and it leaves him befuddled because it’s not natural for him

He’s feeling too much pressure. It’s not fun anymore.

          Joshua is soft as fook.

Try not losing 18 of 24 rounds to Usyk then?

He goes on in the interview to say he thinks about retirement and quitting. The only reason he's "boxing" is for money. He has enough leverage to basically get in the ring with anyone he chooses.

That's exactly what he means by "smart" and that's exactly the way Eddie Hearn has been paving in his last few interviews while trying to make us forget about a Wilder fight.

when u are winning all this deep thinking stuff sounds great, people think u have got stuff figured out, thats the vibe AJ was getting off people and he felt great, fast forward to losing and losing the plot on top of that, cracks appear and pressure grows, people look at u different, id say even good pal eddie also gives off a different vibe to AJ now, AJ has turned into a slightly comical broken figure & he hates it deep down, he may just be looking to cash himself out with a fight or 2 he wants to finish with

Hrgovic is with Hearn. Why doesn't Eddie overpay Hrgovic to fight AJ? If AJ wins, he becomes mandatory. I bet Eddie won't put him in that fight.

AJ already turned down 2 chances to fight Fury in the last 12 months. Hearn admitted that turned it down. So there was a chance to be WBC champ.

Sounds to me AJ isnt looking to win a title if it means a tough route. He wants to win it the same as he did the first time, winning it from a Charles Martin type that picked up a belt in a vacant fight via leg injury.
Because if he bides his time, and Fury postpones again, then he can campaign the IBF to strip Usyk, and then have AJ/Hrgovic for the vacant belt.

It sure does, It looks like he's trying to cover for any real questions that he doesn't want to answer.
