Floyd not a runner, PAC could not cut off ring

Is it safe to say that the legendary Manny Pacquiao who has tremendous leg work could simply not compete with the foot work of a Floyd Mayweather? I mean Floyd used to sit in the pocket and seek and destroy up until he hurt his hands and moved up to heavier weights. He began to use his legs more often and calculatedly he evaded many punches instead of taking them. Imo he is the best defensive boxer arguably in history while PAC still remains the people's champ for what he did outside of the ring, and what he did without being a heavyweight (Ali was the people's champ in that category).

Why do PAC fans emphasize Floyd is some long distance runner. He in the same size ring as his opponent lol. So what it succumbs too is that Floyd has better stamina (quick with his hands, quick on his feet) and cardio, as well as better footwork. He just happens to have Manny's number and roach and pacman should've taken this fight more seriously. So just because Floyd you say lost this fight, all that matters in history is that he got the w and nobody can do a darned thing about it. Was it bad for boxing? Yes. Was Freddie Roach team embarrassed? Yes. It was the fight of the century and we rely on facts not fiction.

Go google and boxrec it, I'll be waiting for the rematch.

when was manny ever known for cutting off the ring

his style was to punch angles around the opponent

People hoped he could do what Cotto & Maidana did but manny doesn't have that skillset

Pac never cuts off the ring. that's not his style.

GGG has that cornering style. Margarito. Usually guys who like to go to the body. That is not Pac's style.

It’s because many Pac fans aren’t smart enough to have a legitimate conversation with. They think Manny is god, that Floyd was a coward and that was because Bob realized he could make money off them and their love. So he hyped up the fight to make money. He knew down the line the match would be made so he pimped Pac out and guess what he did when he was done? Fed Pac to Jeff Horn in Australia. So hey.

If you was a real legitimate boxing aficionado you’d have known if Manny couldn’t handle old man Erik and Marquez, that he would have lost to the premier boxer of his generation. He didn’t have the footwork to handle Floyd, not to mention he was sucker for straight rights and Floyd had the best one in boxing.

I miss the old May/Pac wars on here so I'll give it a go for old times sake.

Floyd stalled the fight waiting for Pac to diminish a bit with his own special testing as an excuse, he would have been demolished in 09 when this should have happened. What a cherrypicker.

I'm a Floyd fan that's the biggest lie known to man....watch the footwork game the 1-3 rounds although Floyd won those rounds Manny was closing on him quickly in pinning him down tiring floyd...by round 4 old weight drained Floyd resorted to holding and stood in the middle of the ring and once again Manny slipped and parried a jab that popped Floyd..Floyd implemented alot of holding, pushing after clean shots, and hooking turning him off his angles and not jabbing so him didn't fall into traps usually again...

As Roger Mayweather said Floyd ain't do shyt, he didn't feel comfortable fighting in the middle of the ring with the speed and power of Manny... Floyd barely landed clean here period...make a thread about canelo Floyd the Floyd fighting at his weight instead of one of Floyds worst performances
