Pac never cuts off the ring. that's not his style.

GGG has that cornering style. Margarito. Usually guys who like to go to the body. That is not Pac's style.
If Floyd was a runner, then Manny is a walker because he walked into many potshots and didn't know how to cut the ring off, it's not his style. Manny walker Pacquiao

he really didnt though, floyd struggled mightily to land anything clean, even his jab was mostly coming up short or at best lightly grazing pac(aka not a clean punch) cutting off the ring is not a scoring criteria, clean punches are and manny took that one clearly. if you are the one landing the cleaner shots and barely getting hit then there is no reason to up the tempo so pac didnt, on the other hand floyd knew the judges would side with him as long as he didnt get dominated so he didnt change the tempo either. he moved around and threw a bunch of ineffective jabs, made it kinda close and that was that. if you go back and judge it on the punches pac is the definite winner but boxing is about more than that, its about narratives like the thread starter made up. oh pac isnt cutting the ring off i guess floyd is winning! oh pac isnt doing this pac isnt doing that. thats not how you should judge boxing of course, it should be fighter A vs fighter B

floyd ate his share of counters that night. He was the only one hurt by the shots.

Floyd is a running, hugging PED cheat who was caught with an illegal needle in his arm the night of the fight.

Does your bias really run so deep that you think Pac actually won this fight? Didn’t happen that way, Floyd won and won EASILY.

It’s hilarious to me that Floyd hasn’t fought a meaningful fight in almost 8 years yet there’s at least 10 threads about him on this website (countless posts).

The fight was very technical in lots of ways, they were playing high-stakes chess, the typical boxing fan only sees a boring fight, they don't see half of what was really going on they don't see the battle of IQs, the positioning control, the traps, they just see a guy running and a guy chasing which makes them fall for shoulder BS, it was what I always thought it would be Floyd being too slick and too smart.
Manny Lost Pacquiao describes how the fight went

manny was deflated in the corner after only round 1 where Floyd landed 3 good rights

manny quickly realized Floyd is better than him

manny had no answers. In round 10 I Floyd stood right in front of manny and smacked him with two left hooks then walked him down
