why would pac need to cut off the ring if floyd wasnt running to begin with?
Floyd not a runner, PAC could not cut off ring

I LOVED “pretty boy Floyd” he was a monster. I admired “money Mayweather” but his fights were not near as entertaining as pretty boys. Watch pretty boy vs Corrales—free fight. Fooken great fight. Then watch the highest earning fight of Pac vs money—-Snooseville.Is it safe to say that the legendary Manny Pacquiao who has tremendous leg work could simply not compete with the foot work of a Floyd Mayweather? I mean Floyd used to sit in the pocket and seek and destroy up until he hurt his hands and moved up to heavier weights. He began to use his legs more often and calculatedly he evaded many punches instead of taking them. Imo he is the best defensive boxer arguably in history while PAC still remains the people's champ for what he did outside of the ring, and what he did without being a heavyweight (Ali was the people's champ in that category).
Why do PAC fans emphasize Floyd is some long distance runner. He in the same size ring as his opponent lol. So what it succumbs too is that Floyd has better stamina (quick with his hands, quick on his feet) and cardio, as well as better footwork. He just happens to have Manny's number and roach and pacman should've taken this fight more seriously. So just because Floyd you say lost this fight, all that matters in history is that he got the w and nobody can do a darned thing about it. Was it bad for boxing? Yes. Was Freddie Roach team embarrassed? Yes. It was the fight of the century and we rely on facts not fiction.
Go google and boxrec it, I'll be waiting for the rematch.Comment

There are bigger en****** than Pacquiao. God> Manny. If Floyd was busy holding and mauling in the clinch then how could he be running? That's why a Floyd win was bad for boxing, because people copped that o must not go mentality. And like I said, aint any Manny fan who could do a damn thing about it, even if they wanted to or tried to do so. To *******s Manny is God. Ain't that's why the narrative is effed up, because the good guy humble god fearing Manny Pacquiao didn't obtain the w a much needed in boxing to put Floyd, the roid monger, running, back peddling, arrogant, money loving self in his place where the world needed a most needed villian. Floyd said "tons of people hate, but if it cost money to hate they wouldn't ." There are plenty of butt hurt destroyer fans, but hey just like if Floyd won, which he did, show me something to do about it instead of criticizing his footwork. Imo Floyd won that fight go check the verdict.
Just like Lennox beat Klitschko, and Tito beat de la Hoya. Whatever, so kid kalufu fans can hate all they want but they know, he knows, HE (god) knows sometimes it's a collect the w and shine brighter another day. Was it a easy fight for Floyd? No. Was it a close fight? Yes. Manny severely needed to win this fight. Now now, even roach said he was embarrassed to lose to Mayweather.
Imagine the peacefulness that shutting up a Mayweather fan would do??? I still love Manny to death, but for real though, it's like Pacquiao came out the wrong end of a doodie filled diaper. Bring on the rematch. The runner vs the dynamic puncher. Maybe cutting off the ring is something Manny does, just not his style like a mfer.Comment

It's like the old saying, hit and don't be hit. When a fighter is smart inside in the ring and out, he a) has a high ring iq this isn't a chin hitting contest b) everything with the date complimented Floyd and no one else, I think he made a selfish 300 million for this dud. I heard the rematch is on January 6th man.Comment

Funny story, makes me laugh when guys describe what they seen, the majority of the time it tells me what they don't know about this sport. Manny was completely lost just didn't know how to move in on Floyd, allowing Floyd to just turn him all night, Floyds reaction speed, balance and footspeed would always beat Manny, at135 Floyd would stop him, at 147 it was all safety first win the fight, Manny just wouldn't pull the trigger for fear of being countered so his work rate was shut down to his career lowest and he just followed Floyd around.
I'm a Floyd fan that's the biggest lie known to man....watch the footwork game the 1-3 rounds although Floyd won those rounds Manny was closing on him quickly in pinning him down tiring floyd...by round 4 old weight drained Floyd resorted to holding and stood in the middle of the ring and once again Manny slipped and parried a jab that popped Floyd..Floyd implemented alot of holding, pushing after clean shots, and hooking turning him off his angles and not jabbing so him didn't fall into traps usually again...
As Roger Mayweather said Floyd ain't do shyt, he didn't feel comfortable fighting in the middle of the ring with the speed and power of Manny... Floyd barely landed clean here period...make a thread about canelo Floyd the Floyd fighting at his weight instead of one of Floyds worst performances
The fight was very technical in lots of ways, they were playing high-stakes chess, the typical boxing fan only sees a boring fight, they don't see half of what was really going on they don't see the battle of IQs, the positioning control, the traps, they just see a guy running and a guy chasing which makes them fall for shoulder BS, it was what I always thought it would be Floyd being too slick and too smart.Comment

No, Floyd is the King of Fouls - runs, hugs, holds, wrestles, elbows, ducks below the belt or waist line, ropes as leverage, etc...
With all that being said, Manny was never going to beat Floyd simply for the fact that Manny was always the smaller man, prime or otherwise.
