Benavidez shouldnt say stuff like this. This will likely backfire. Canelo is in a position to sit back and say, "go fight him then!" Also no matter what Morrell does (aside from dating Taylor Swift) he wont generate $. So if Benavidez dont fight him solely for financial reasons, people will call him a duck.

Lastly, Benavidez needs to focus on stopping Andrade. The "Montreal Screwjob" is in the works if he dont.

You wanna talk about resumes, Morrell shouldn't even be in the convo then based on his resume(or lack thereof). Let Morrell work his way up and make a name for himself the way these two did if it's like that. Don't understand why dudes gotta be like groupies for certain fighters instead of just being a fan of the sport. Here we go again with the baffling Andrade is boring thing. How is he a boring potshotter? I dont see that. Hitchins is boring. He's not even a potshotter, he's just boring. Foster is a boring potshotter. Haneys hit and hug style is boring. Stevensons got a couple different looks, but his illegal stiff arm style ( dont know what else to call it) is boring. Comparatively, Andrade is really exciting to watch in my opinion. Ive never been bored watching him fight.

Crazy how we support a sport where a champion can pick a 0 time world champ and C level Brit in Ryder, pick a 40 year old inactive middleweight, pick an inactive junior mw to move up 2 weight classes to face him, but someone like Benavidez who clearly is the best fight to be made can be blatantly ducked while this lame ass still gets to hold all the belts.
