Cordina just isn't very good.

Makes a total pigs ear of everything. Every fight he has turns into some you go then I'll go affair

It's a bit unfair to say he's not very good because you wouldn't beat his last two opponents unless you are a good fighter, but you are right in that he seems to make hard work of it.


the commentators often make out like he chooses to get into a tear up but I don't think so at all. I think for someone who supposedly has very good skills, he doesn't seem that difficult to cut off in the ring

Based on some of the Matchroom interviews I've watched in the past few days, your assessment is actually pretty close lol. It seems more like a ballroom than an arena. Hearn was talking about it like it was a suit-and-tie affair.

Pretty close fight, probably couldn't argue either way but Cordina will be getting the decision.

Fairly close fight. I could see Joe maybe edging it if they really value the power shots, but Vazquez landed more. Pitter patter for the win? Joe seemed like he was landing harder, but Vazquez took them really well. Liked the angles, defense, doubling up on the same side, volume, shot choice and placement.
