Cordina has fallen in love with his power. He forgot that accuracy/precision is what created his stoppages, not heavy-handedness. He was forcing his offense damn near all night, and Vasquez was frustrating the hell outta him.

It was a very close fight, but not exactly a robbery. A draw would have been the best decision (although I wasn't scoring it).

He was never really seen as a power puncher until the last couple of years.

that Sims gym was riddled with drugs cheats like Conor Benn. Sims fighters for a couple of years seemed to develop one punch knockout power but since Benn has been caught, Cordina hasn't stopped anybody in his last 2 and Benn didnt in his comeback.

Seems like the Sims gym are being careful now and the power isn't like it was over a year ago..

Cordina seems like if he can't get a fighter out early he turns it into a back and forth fight. He sc****d by with close decision this fight and the last but his luck will run out if he keeps this up.
