Someone help me understand why a unification isn't appealing? Are guy's happy being 1/4th of a champion?

I guess they rate the low risk low reward of being the 1/4th champion and repeat underwhelming defenses to stay a "champion" as being more cost effective than the high risk high reward of fighting another champion and potentially ending up beltless?

Sheesh, 130 really is a dead zone in terms of star power and excitement between the 135+ of Teo/Haney/Shakur/Tank/Loma and below 126 unification/undisputed party.

Cordina wants Leigh Wood &, yes, he will make a shedload of money from a 'battle of Britain', almost certainly he'll get more for Wood than he would for Foster. Also, Wood is 35 & won't be around for much longer. If Cordina beats Wood then, he will hope, a unification v Foster will be better rewarded. If I was Cordina's manager I'd try to make Cordina v Wood at NFFC Ground, nothing else makes sense financially.

IDK what SidKnee may say, but, as already stated, Joe (who isn't in any way my boy as he is Welsh) would be mad to take any fight next except Wood. He wants to get paid which isn't unreasonable for someone putting his life & his health on the line. IF he wins tonight & he beats Wood then O'Shaquie is still there.

It's simple. Wood offers much more money in a much bigger fight. Wood is world champion moving up. Nobody even knows Foster for it to be a money fight. How is this lost on you?

Not only that, but Cordina wanted it but Eddie told him there wasn't any money in it.
