Eddie was talking about it at the end of the fight so might go for it. We'll just have to wait and see. But it's true. Foster doesn't sell at all. Wood does.

Not only that, but Cordina wanted it but Eddie told him there wasn't any money in it.

The old “if the money is right” mentality (ie cowardice excuse) strikes again
Cmon 'OldschoolG, you're meant to know better than that. Like me, you've been following the fight game for many years. These guys are putting their lives & their health on the line every time they fight. EVERY TIME they could end up blind, dead, in a wheelchair, permanently damaged. They are entitled to get paid &, right now, Cordina will get paid better for Wood than for Navarette or Foster or anyone else. If you don't like it try educating UK fight fans so that they understand what Cordina v Foster means, good luck with that!

In my lifetime I can think of one man who lived up to that idea of always taking the best challenger, never avoiding anyone. His name was Muhammad Ali. He became, of course, a legend. He also ended up unable to talk or walk in a straight line because of all the punches he'd taken. I think any boxer, looking at Ali, might see drawbacks to that approach to his career.
