Has nothing to do with not wanting the fight to happen. Quite the opposite. If people like you didn't support every postponement and Fury mind game, we would have had this fight already. We remember that Usyk signed on the dotted line to take only 30%, only to have Fury throw a fit about his own side's rematch clause, which is even still in the current contracts. Ask yourself who benefits most from a rematch clause, the big man or the little man?

Well, I agree with that sentiment for sure. I wanted them to fight, and still do. Point is that the people supporting his Dec 23 postponement are the ones who don't seem to want to see the fight. I don't think this fight happens at this point, personally, but I'm hoping to be wrong.

I didn't just make that up though. That's essentially exactly what people were saying when Fury refused to make the Dec 23 date because he took an unnecessary interim fight and got some bruises. If you weren't one of those people, then I'm not sure why OP tagged you, but that's a perfectly valid summary of the arguments made by the people who said it was a valid postponement.

In a recent exchange I had on here another user couldn't get it through his head why I was insisting the fight should go ahead on 23rd December. He thinks insisting on that date, after the Ngannou outcome, made the fight less likely. I think the opposite. By allowing Fury to move on this date there's a good chance the fight won't end up happening at all.

There's a rematch clause after all, so the loser could have made their excuses between the 23rd and the return bout. The Saudis should have told them to get on with it or the deal is off.

I'm not sure how many Fury die hards are left, but whether you're willing to express it openly or not, you must have some doubts too. It must be exhausting being invested in this guy. Inactivity, "retirements" and postponements. It's tedious, and I'm looking forward to boxing being able to move on from this embarrassing episode.

It's within living memory for all of us when we had active champions and boxing wasn't just a grift for assorted cretins (Fury's father being among them). We can get back to that.

IMO the Saudi should give Fury 2 months and work on a sub if Fury does no agree to it. Fury has been fight the old and not very good for to long. IMO, he soiled his legacy and boxing enough.

Usyk can fight Hrgovic or Zhang next if Fury will not agree to fight Usyk in April - May. It's put up or shut up time. No more pulling out of fights, or fights with 0-0 boxers.
