The difference between Canelo and Crawford is skin color - I'm going to get frank here. Canelo wants to jump up 22 pounds, and is applauded; Crawford wants to jump 19 pounds and is discouraged. So, the Mexican warrior can do it, but the small little black man shouldn't try?

I bring up skin color because of what would have happened if Mayweather looked like how Fury looked against a top MMA fighter. Mayweather's legacy would forever be tarnished. Fury will continue to be praised like he's some all time world beater. The difference? Weight and race.

Nevertheless, Crawford is a much smarter fighter than Charlo, and Canelo, for some reason, makes his opponents stand in awe of him. Crawford won't care, like he didn't against Spence. The only problem is... Crawford is 35-36? Adding 19 pounds, at this stage, would be.. unlikely..

      Don't kill me, Thread lololol

You're ignoring that Fury is getting slaughtered. Bowe tells him to retire. A dozen other boxing luminaries have said he has embarrassed boxing,. Many others have said Ngannou won. yet others have said Fury is in decline and many others have said that the notion that Fury is an ATG on a level with Lewis, Ali and Louis is now laughable - yet TreD states that "Fury will continue to be praised" in the face of all contrary evidence - GTFOH

He ended up losing at LHW when he fought a legit guy because even 175 was too much and that is moving up 1 weight class.

Also Canelo had lots of time to move from 154 to 160 and eventually 168. Crawford cannot just jump 3 weight classes in one fight and be competitive without having some tune ups at 160 minimum.
I'm not sure even a "tune up" at 160 for Crawford will be that useful for him either because 147 to 160 is quite a jump as well. Ideal would be for Crawford to go to 154 against Tszyu for a belt...but that makes too much sense boxing wise but not enough financially so it won't happen.

Crawford vs Canelo is really just a question of this: how many millions would it take for Crawford to agree to sell his "0" and go to happy retirement after getting squashed by Canelo?

It's still true though whether that's the reason or not.

I want to see Benavidez / Canelo and I want to see what Crawford can do at 154 first, against both Charlo and Tszyu, before taking on such a ludicrous weight jump.

For sue I want more Canelo -Munguia than Canelo -a welterweight.

Only morons think a welterweight can do anything to Canelo.

I have some news, the size actually matters in boxing. This is why Richards did it better against Bivol than Canelo did.

To compete in one division you must actually be big enough. Crawford is clearly not 168 guy, lol.

Sometimes size matters, sometimes it doesn't, just a week ago,Fury was,a big favorite over Usyk because of size, now a week later after Fury's underwhelming performance, Usyk is suddenly the favorite.

Nah, size still matters. The claim that it doesn't matter between Fury and Usyk remains to be seen in the ring, not based on how Fury fought another 270 lb power puncher.

Crawford knows damn well he can't beat Canelo. He's a 36-year-old fighter looking for a golden retirement check, and that's it. He beat twice-car-wrecked Spence, so now he can beat Alvarez? FOH.

Why is it odd...look at the 147 landscape, there is no good next for Crawford in the 147 rotation... Crawford could be Canelo and fight a mandatory in 18 months from the Spence fight.
