Canelo wanted to fight for the Cruiserweight title and people cheered him on...

Remember that? Canelo went to the WBC convention and begged to avoid Benavidez and instead challenge for the Cruiserweight title... 168 to 190

The difference between Canelo and Crawford is skin color - I'm going to get frank here. Canelo wants to jump up 22 pounds, and is applauded; Crawford wants to jump 19 pounds and is discouraged. So, the Mexican warrior can do it, but the small little black man shouldn't try?

I bring up skin color because of what would have happened if Mayweather looked like how Fury looked against a top MMA fighter. Mayweather's legacy would forever be tarnished. Fury will continue to be praised like he's some all time world beater. The difference? Weight and race.

Nevertheless, Crawford is a much smarter fighter than Charlo, and Canelo, for some reason, makes his opponents stand in awe of him. Crawford won't care, like he didn't against Spence. The only problem is... Crawford is 35-36? Adding 19 pounds, at this stage, would be.. unlikely..

    Don't kill me, Thread lololol

“But if you ask somebody at 112 pounds to come up and fight Canelo, they’ll go up to fight Canelo. You know what I mean? So, it’s just basically everybody wants the fight. But, you know, we as fans deserve competitive fights. You know what I mean? And that’s why I feel like Canelo doesn’t wanna fight me right now, because he knows it’s the most competitive fight. And I’m working like an animal in the gym, so that’s why he knows.”
Benavidez understands how to sell. This is 100% the correct answer, all of it.

You ask Inoue to "test himself" against the P4P King (Canelo), he'd take it even if he does get destroyed. Doesn't change the fact it's a circus.

Benavidez is logically the next best opponent. Let Crawford fight a mando or rematch Spence. Anything else is a duck.

Have him fight Spence and Tim (WBO and WBA) at 154. If he stops both of them, especially Tim since he is a boxer-puncher like Canelo, it can be chalked up that Crawford is a 154 fighter. By this time Canelo has completed his last 2 fights with PBC. At this point, we are looking at something similar to Ray Leonard 147 going up to fight Hagler 160. Crawford is not Charlo, Khan, Brook or Gamboa moving up. Elite Boxers have proven you can almost eliminate anything Canelo tries to land upstairs so it comes down to having a game plan for his clubbing shots and body work.

Pretty much T-Bud has the size and range to be a successful 154

Crawford has the size for 154, not for 168. At his age, he should already be at 160 -168. Canelo is younger, can Canelo make 147, which is Crawford`s last division?

Only morons say Crawford and Canelo are the same size.

And he got soundly destroyed. And realized where he needs to be fighting. Which is where he just fought.

The difference between Canelo and Crawford is the # of asses in the seats. The more asses you can put in the seats, the more you can get away with circus fights. Which is why you just got done seeing Tyson Fury damn near lose to a rookie and why Floyd Mayweather can basically fight anyone he feels like fighting and pull minimum eight figures every time.

Apparently you forgot that Floyd dropped minimum six rounds to Conor McGregor.

Any of the useless ABC Orgs going to order Crawford to defend his titles? Is he just going to keep those belts in his display cabinet or what? If he's not defending them why not just drop them and let others fight for them?
