Benavidez has earned the fight. That's the only person I want to see face Canelo right now.

People saw that super middleweight Canelo couldn`t compete with top light heavy Bivol.

People saw that top jr. middleweight Charlo couldn`t compete with top super middleweight Canelo.

But for some reason some morons believe that top welterweight Crawford can compete with top super middleweight Canelo.

      Are you guys crazy?

That is not what am I asking.

IF Canelo and Crawford are the same size...than Canelo can make 147 and fight Crawford there?

        Or not?

This is all about money. Canelo/Crawford will sell way better than Canelo Beneviedez. Beneviedez is pretty much an unknown to anyone other than boxing fans. However, Going from 147 to 168 is just too much. There is a reason Canelo did not move to CW. He ended up losing at LHW when he fought a legit guy because even 175 was too much and that is moving up 1 weight class.

Also Canelo had lots of time to move from 154 to 160 and eventually 168. Crawford cannot just jump 3 weight classes in one fight and be competitive without having some tune ups at 160 minimum.

For some reasons morons still believe Canelo is the best at 168. He won't fight Benavidez, he loses to Andrade, he looked mediocre against Ryder. Jermell came to pick up a paycheck and not get knocked out, that was an embarrassment for both guys. So because Canelo looked so awesome against an inactive 154 guy who had major ring rust and who was there to get paid.....Bud has zero chance?

Bud walks around alot heavier than 147. His skill level is ridiculous, far surpassing anyone Canelo has fought apart from Floyd and GGG....Bud is likely more skilled than both, and both of them beat Saul.... the x factor being the weight. And it isn't like Bud would need to pile on 30 pounds. He'd need to cut 10 pounds instead of 30.

The Canelo Jermell silliness was a money grab, nothing more. And it has people fooled. But it takes a fool to really believe that Canelo is some kind of monster at this point that would tear through Bud. He wouldn't.

I find it odd how quiet they've been. Who's next in the rotation?

The difference between Canelo and Crawford is skin color - I'm going to get frank here. Canelo wants to jump up 22 pounds, and is applauded; Crawford wants to jump 19 pounds and is discouraged. So, the Mexican warrior can do it, but the small little black man shouldn't try?

I bring up skin color because of what would have happened if Mayweather looked like how Fury looked against a top MMA fighter. Mayweather's legacy would forever be tarnished. Fury will continue to be praised like he's some all time world beater. The difference? Weight and race.

Nevertheless, Crawford is a much smarter fighter than Charlo, and Canelo, for some reason, makes his opponents stand in awe of him. Crawford won't care, like he didn't against Spence. The only problem is... Crawford is 35-36? Adding 19 pounds, at this stage, would be.. unlikely..

You apparently see racism everywhere. And you are wrong.
The reason Canelo was applauded for jumping weight is because people wanted to see him get his ass kicked. People dont want Bud to get destroyed so they discourage it. The exact opposite of your victim of racism mentality.

Honestly a really great point. Bud is a straight shooter who works hard and is just now getting his just due. Canelo is good fighter but was made the "face of boxing" by Oscar and he has spent his career aging guys out, caught cheating, he can be an arrogant little prick.

                    Really good point.

For anyone who hasn't seen it, here is Bud on a scale at 177 between fights. He looks filled out, still has visible abs, looks healthy, not fat. He ain't tiny.
