Fury was the same Fury that destroyed Wilder

Fury looks out of shape more often than he looks in shape. Even if he was in great shape it was not going to override the fact that hes fairly pillow fisted and was in a situation where he was facing a big puncher who (unlike Wilder) had a good chin and couldnt be bullied.
I still think Fury beats Usyk though tbh. Styles make fights at the end of the day.

I just thought it was hilarious watching a boxer thinking he could outgrapple an MMA fighter. Fury looked like a clown because he couldn't deal with it.
The way boxers grapple is only effective in the sport of boxing. Otherwise it is completely useless against an actual fighter. This fight proved it.

Ngannou is the only smart fighter not to worry about the Fury feints which is a smoke and mirrors tactic for him because it lets him react first to smaller opponents mostly where he hits and moves …Ngannou has a very long reach and didn’t really bother he just ignored uneccessary movements and boxed a straight forward fight which is basically all you need to do and you’d see Fury isn’t the master class boxer he makes himself look like simply because he relies on herky jerky movement first getting opponents to not be aggressive much then actual punching skills come second when his opponent’s let off he catches them flat .
Wallin also did well with Fury and at least did some of his own feints and was able to just walk inside on him which is why Fury looked bad ,Wallin just didn’t have the power he had decent speed and punch selection though .
When Ngannou didn’t react much and waited to counter it threw Fury off ,like the Klitchko fight he couldn’t really do much because Fury couldn’t physically impose himself to the point he could bully Ngannou around either , with Wilder he got away with it because Wilder is not the durable guy Ngannou is and Ngannou has a little bit of skills ,knows different angles and has power as well these combinations aren’t good for Fury and when you add the weight advantage he likes to have that wasn’t there it exposed him in a lot of ways .
People will see who the actual more capable fighter is soon because I don’t believe Furys fight with Usyk will go smooth for him win or lose and I think Joshua is going to make Ngannou look like a common sparring partner just because he has the better abilities . He doesn’t struggle with guys like Wallin or Ngannou,he doesn’t get knocked down by C level guys where guys can claim his defense is weaker the actual difference so far from Joshua and Fury is one calls himself the greatest and one let’s the fans decide how good he is .
Fury is proven to be the mentally weaker fighter he needs to boost himself up and that’s why Usyk has a great advantage in that fight , he’s got Fury in a fight he never wanted that’s usually end game ?Last edited by juggernaut666; 01-13-2024, 05:44 AM.nixxter likes this.

Bakole was in camp with Fury for Ngannou and literally said he wasn't training properly.
It is what it is he will have to do better next time won't he.

Ngannou was just stronger, stood his ground and countered instead of backing off.
Wilder fell apart from the pressure, can't counter or fight on the inside.
This is similar to when Tyson lost to John McDemott. John took the centre of the ring and Tyson didn't have an answer.
It's the same Tyson we've seen for years. If his size doesn't work, he has trouble.
So, Fury lost to McDermott? Ok, Usyk lost to Dubois and got a draw against Briedis. In that sense, Fury won't have a problem to beat him.
Blaming someone because of something one can't choose - size. Well, size is a gift as everything else, but could also be a negative in some aspects, something we can't say about speed and power. If I was 206 cm. I would have used my size as an advantage, only a fool wouldn't. Would you?

And by facing 0-0 boxer he thought his size would enough vs. the 37 year old.
Fury fights the fat, old, and non -top ten ranked ( by Ring Magazine standards )
If he ever fights Usyk, which I will believe when I see it, this guy will be canned.
