That's the long and short of it.

Now this kid will go on to win some other boxing matches, then soon retire wealthy.
And Fury will go on to dominate Usyk... and from there, likely retire.
That's the most obvious scenario... standard for the sport.
I think Fury will rematch N'gannou. He has too, no rematch would be more embarassing than the performance of last night itself. Unless Francis doesn't want it.

Fury has too much ego, he's a Maniac.

Remember how he was obsessed to rematch Wilder After the draw. Same case here.

If Fury doesn't want it, it means Fury lost some fire and that's not a good look before facing Usyk who for the record can fight, has balls, Iron will and has a weird style.

If Fury still has it, he won't let half World says Francis beat him even if they are MMA morons or Cameroon fanboys.

If a boxer fights a wrestler under wrestling rules and loses, that could be a mild embarrassment - but if a boxing world champion fights a UFC guy and they fight under boxing rules and he barely wins or loses, he has embarrassed the entire boxing world. FK that mental basket case for what he pulled. EPIC fail!

Man, even if Fury didn`t lose, but won a close fights, he still looked like a garbage.

Folks looking like this was bad for boxing or even bad for Fury aren’t thinking clearly. He hit the jackpot by sucking last night. Now he has 3-4 potential massive paydays ahead. Usyk and surely a contracted Usyk rematch, Ngannou rematch. Possibly Joshua if the guy doesn’t lose again and isn’t committed to a mental institution by then.

Don't kid yourself. You are the one who is not thinking clearly at all and talking like a casual because he did not hit the jackpot, he was was already a multi-millionaire with a net worth of 65 million - what he did was put a huge stain on Boxing which none of his millions can change. When a Boxing World Champion has to rematch a guy who came in with a 0-0-0 boxing record, he massively embarrassed himself and especially the Boxing community That is not debatable and THAT is what's all over the news, not some mythical jackpot. Now the UFC world is saying "we can beat you at your own game" and are now having tons of laughs all at the expense of Boxing and mental midget clown Tyson's epic failure.

If Ngannou has to be honest, he has to admit that despite being roided as a bull and facing a shade of Fury, he lost, regardless of the knockdown.

                    Fury wins rounds 1, 2, 5. 6, and 9.
Rounds 7 and 10 are more open for anyone to take or simply draw.

I am more inclined to give round 7 to Fury. So, my score would be between 96-93 and 95 - 94 in favor of Fury but I can understand if someone gives both 7 and 10 to Fury (making it 96 - 93) or Ngannou (making it 94-95), which is what two judges did.

I think Fury barely edged the fight but certainly lost his ego and prestige in the process.
You do realize that the scoring system allows for evenly scored rounds (10-10)? If you believe those two rounds (7,10) were too even to decide clearly then why not score them 10-10 and recalculate your card? That’s the fair, logical and reasonable way to do it, instead of forcing yourself to pick a 10-9 winner of those rounds for reasons which you cannot even articulate. Based on your own stated opinions that would leave Ngannou (10-8 score for the 3rd round) as the winner by a 95-94 scorecard.

Correction: Actually, on second look, I guess that would add up to 96-95 for Fury. Oops.

Let’s be real. Francis fought a 35 year old, fat, flabby Fury. He fought a Fury who has for years now, been abusing drugs and alcohol. The damage he sustained from Wilder has also caught up with an absolute vengeance. Even if he tried to fully commit to training, I do not feel he can physically be capable due to what I stated. His time is up.
