My bad on the comeback. Thanks.

...and every time I think about that third tarver fight, i curl up in a fetal postition and weep softly.

Not only did the second fight ruin one of my beach vacations, I had to see one of my boxing gods running away from Antonio Tarver.

You say that without any information to back it up. And then when you are presented with information that shows he tried to get fights, you ignore it.

Everyone knew that JMM was gonna be a tune-up for Floyd...but it was given to him by Pacquiao avoiding a third match with JMM. JMM said that he wanted Floyd who he thought was the real p4p champ. He made it all too easy to set-up Mayweather-Pacquiao for 2010, regardless of what happens next month with Cotto.

You have said this before with no back-up information.

How many people took advantage of the Tecate promo? how many of those would not have bought the fight otherwise?

Regardless of how "Numero Uno" was marketed, or what you paid for it, it was a tune-up. Floyd wanted to see, and we ALL wanted to see, what he had left.

If Floyd came back and had a "Kevin Howard moment", that would have been embarrassing and ****** on his part. And, in truth, I prefer to see mayweather-marquez than mayweather-cardona.

            So, I wasn't mad at the tune-up.
Seriously I prefer to see Floyd against Quintana, Collazo, Lujan, or Soto Karass, than Mayweather-Marquez. All this fighters beat Marquez at 147 and yet were not any danger to Floyd.

To me, These are not "events". And HBO has zero interest in those.

              mayweather- quintana
              mayweather-collazo
              mayweather - karass

Isn't Lujan a JMW on his way to MW?!

How do i sell a FMJ-Quintana fight? Quintana was KO'd in one round by Williams and in five rounds by Cotto. (no, i saw the 1st williams fight)

Collazo had been beaten by the guy Floyd KO'd last time out. and was beaten by Shane.

How do i sell those fights? Do you think Floyd came back for $3 million paydays? C'mon, son.

Please recognize that this is a business as well as a sport. And you are a knowledgeable, hardcore fan that knows 10x what the casual fan knows. How do I promote a Mayweather-Collazo 24/7? That hurts my ears.

                Ok Al common sense question.

Would you (I mean the poster Al Haymon) pay $55 for a fight when you (Al Haymon) could get that exact same fight for $25?

Answer that question. Don't avoid it. If you avoid I will assume you're a ***** that suckles on Floyds nuts too much to see the truth. So don't be a gutless piece of **** phoney. Please, answer that question.

The obvious answer will prove my point that the rebates helped bump the numbers big time.

But none of those names are as big to the casual fan as Marquez. Marquez was on the p4p list and considered by some to be as good or better than Pacquiao. The fight that everyone wants to see, is Mayweather-Pacquiao. So why not fight the man who gave the assumed p4p king a tough 24 rounds, especially after he called you out specifically by name?

Floyd has never called Manny Pacquiao out. Fact.

He didn't give him the toughest 24 rounds at all guy. Watch the fights again. He gave Manny maybe 20 tough rounds out of the 24. Anyone in their right mind that would call the Manny-JMM 1 first round a tough round for Manny is on crack.
