You could argue that The Ring isn't the Supreme authority anymore, but among non world title beltholders, they currently list Wilder as number 1 and Joshua number 2.
I agree.Comment

Nooooo. A much easier fight for Joshua (i.e. potentially winnable), but certainly not bigger. Wilder's a TV star. Hardest puncher on earth.Comment

The idea Joshua and Wilder as individuals don't sell fights is ... you know ... silly. Wasn't Wilder's last fight 20 mil to him and one for Robert? And Joshua made 20 mil while Helenius got 2 1/2? So, wtf. They generate tens of millions fighting Robert Helenius.

Poor dear turn down $100mil deal to fight AJ in his American debut. Blubber turn down a similar deal.
No $ left in boxing, hence Blubber exhibition last ditch effort dooming him forever.Comment

They sell fights. And Joshua v Wilder will always sell.
It's just a shame it didn't happen a few years back. Joshua v Wilder when they were undefeated was the biggest potential fight in decades. Nothing in the division that can be put together really compares to that fight at that time.Comment

AJ and eddie were in the same room when this call out came through over social media, AJ stood up and slowly nodded his head & made his way towards the door, eddie says AJ where are u going? Back to the dark room he saysComment

Well, if wilder loses to josh, I don't think it necessary for wilder to fight usyk. We can assume wilder isn't top 4 and should stop wasting people's time pretending he's a top four fighter!Last edited by hugh grant; 10-27-2023, 03:19 PM.Comment
