I think the whole "depression and suicidal" thing (whether it was real or somewhat fabricated) that led to Fury's redemption in public eye and begins his rise as well as his personality where you can't really take him by his own word is a stroke of "genius". There was a time period where he was beyond criticism (which continues till today, even though he is not immune to it anymore, but he is at point where he just doesn't have to care).

If every boxer had half the charisma of Fury then Showtime and HBO would still be in the sport because casual fans would be fully engaged and viewing numbers through the roof.

And yet so many of us await the day he’s done with the sport, so go figure. Saying he has charisma is the equivalent of praising a mentally weak human being as leadership material. If he had actual charisma he wouldn’t need to say outlandish shhh to get attention. Say if other fighters played up to the cameras like fury would be correct but charisma? Dude has about as much charisma as a lump of shhh sitting in a toilet bowl. Fury saw what worked for online trolls and adopted it, nothing more.

100% and anyone who disagrees should go read up on extended ******* binging and what that leads to. Everything Fury claimed was mental health, he left out the part that it was self induced.
