I think wilder said fury was pillow fisted. But this was before fury koed wilder. Maybe wilder elevated fury now to cushion fisted. Cushion being slightly firmer than pillows

Fury and his usual way to irritate his haters. Of course, he doesn't believe it.

Wilder's power comes from leverage, where he is throwing it from, he needs the windup. Wilder isn't a massively strong dude, his power is all mechanics.

Fury has learned to sit down on his punches and throw from the hips. Since he did, he is a 6'9, 270 pound power puncher. Who can also box like a lightweight.

No one is beating Fury over the next few years. Wilder's windup fastball right hand may have more sting on it as a single punch, but go back and watch that trilogy. Fury is throwing bombs without huge windups and hurting Wilder over and over. When he does get a windup, he knocks Wilder off his feet with the power. Overall Fury throws the harder shots, Wilder keeps whipping his right and missing, and unless he lands it perfectly, it is not effective.

That is one thing Wilder doesn't get alot of credit for, punch placement. He lands the right flush pretty cleanly when he gets knockouts. Wilder learned to throw a fast haymaker with the right and be accurate. Any HW that throws from the fences with a good snap at the end lands on the the right spot, they can KO a guy. Wilder good at throwing a controlled haymaker. Unfortunately, it is easy to see and a good boxer will move away from that punch and break Wilder down now. I think Ruiz beats him, Zhang beats him, AJ likely knocks him out. There is a reason Wilder is pricing himself out of any real threat.

id say that applies to AJ tenfold more. Wilder didn't lose too much, as he's still the same great smack talker he always has been...
Whereas Joshua has lost his test tickles!!!

Wilder was rumored to have the biggest punch, not the strongest chin. He KO'd all but Fury because he landed that big right and his opponents couldn't stand up to it. He didn't weather barrages of punches before landing his showstopper; he landed that big punch first.

Wilders chin is fragile so there’s nothing to gage Furys power bc Wilder hasn’t fought the recognizable prime punchers he’s never fought any of them ,not even a Parker type who has a decent gas tank . Wilder has several back of the head stoppages and his punches aren’t clean at all outside the right hand when he throws it straighter

I compare Wilder's fight against Helenius with Joshua's, and I don't see what you're claiming.

I'm not convinced Fury would beat Wilder again, TBH. Can't get dropped that many times by a guy that hits that hard without an effect. That's part of why I'm not convinced by Fury. He got hit clean way too much by a guy who is supposed to be one of the worst boxers in the division, with primary saving grace being generational power. If Fury is really that good, then IMO you have to give Wilder credit for being able to drop him 4 times. And if Wilder is overrated, so is Fury, who also got dropped by Cunningham.

The Wilder hate is out of control. He's dropped everyone who's gotten in with him. Ruiz couldn't stop Arreola OR an older Ortiz than the one Wilder KOed twice. You think he can't drop Joyce who has no head movement? Or Quitter Dubois? Zhang, AJ, and Ruiz would be better fights, but to date, the evidence says he lands on them, so the question is whether they can get back up after he does, or if they can stop him before he does land. We've already seen his power carries all the way through to the end too.

We'd have to consider that Mike Tyson, Evander Holyfield, Lennox Lewis, Wladimir Klitschko and Anthony Joshua all had "fragile chins" before concluding that Deontay Wilder might. For sure. And Luis Ortiz ranks just behind Wilder as being the biggest puncher of the current era. Wilder took his stuff and KOd him Twice. What did AJ ever do that was better than that? Comebacking Wladimir? Joseph Parker??? Watch Parker's next fight.

Fury must have forgot that he also got put on his arse by the smallest heavyweight in the division Steve Cunningham. Ngannou definitely has a punchers chance even though this is BS fraud of a fight.
