You clearly missed what he was saying, he didn't say boxers don't need these people, what he said was fire the ones that do not include the fighter's concerns into the decisions, I applaud him even with his very limited business sense he recognized what's been the norm of robbery by managers and promoters and he spoke up and fired Arum as a result he got some quality opponents, Arum blamed him publicly for not self promoting when that's what he was hired for, Crawford knows he is not the best spokesman or charismatic.
He is now #P4P no thanks to crooked Bob
Fighting is unlike any other sport it's a brutal & short career and most have no say over anything and with the millions made although some are foolish with $$ most wind up penniless thru bad managementComment

Simple don't work with the bad promoters. Find one that will pay you what you are worth. Fighters fight and Promoters promote, they BOTH WANT more money.
They all go to Top Rank, once Top Ranks make them into STARS, no they want to leave. Don't go to Top Rank from the beginning if they are the problem. But we all Know Top Rank is the best at making Stars. 50 Years of experience.
Bud Should be a promoter before talking.Comment

Arum wasn't wrong. Crawford made it public that he couldn't get big fights yet it was his own decision to resign with him in the first place. Not that hard. Use your brain cells. You clearly just have hate towards Arum and missed his point. Crawford got paydays he clearly didn't deserve with Arum. And then Crawford sued him for "racism" lol

And what big fights? He fought avualiknis or whatever thanks to some random promoter lol and then finally got Spencer in the ring. Now a pointless rematch. But let's see what happens next
lol idiot
As for the bold that's exactly what promoters do it's called building up a fighters profile. When was the last time a fighter went through a murderers row? You act like if promoters are don king just robbing the fighters. You clearly just exaggerated Bud's point just to hate on Arum lmfao dummyLast edited by Teetotaler69; 10-19-2023, 09:21 PM.Comment

He's not the greedy one, It's the promoters, managers, sanctioning bodies who make the real money from his blood, sweat and hard work. It's not a team sport dude, these guys risk death, have shortened lives, and cognitive decline due to being pounded in the head..think about that **** while you're calling him greedy, I understand broadcasters are in business to make money but they are on the greedy train as well. No one else is risking what the fighters are riskingComment

Those are your words not his and your interpretation of what he saying is way off baseCrawford is great fighter but he’s not the sharpest.
he tried to sue arum and that went nowhere. He got huge pay checks for beating bums and huge money for fighting avensyan and crazy money to fight spence. Crawford is the problem with boxing. He doesn’t understand that to do what he’s saying u need to also promote your own fights. It’s possible to do but u can’t be the fighter and promoter one will suffer. Crawford wants all the money but doesn’t want to pay broadcasters and venues and what not he thinks boxers should get 95% of the profits which isn’t really feasibleComment

Yeah, even Money Mayweather got frustrated with his fighters.
He doesn't have to. All he needs is to talk to Floyd Mayweather.
Mayweather: I'll Tell Haymon - Fighters Getting Too Much Money!
Retired former five division world champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. (49-0, 26KOs) is not happy with the recent events in boxing. He believes fighters are asking for too much money to step in the ring.

Let them shut the whole damn business then, so these gory details you're describing here don't have to happen. Agree? Let him find a regular job just like millions of people on earth are surviving with.
