I think both of them are right and both of them are wrong. The day of the traditional promoter model is passé..the networks should now fill that role, or streamers I should say. DLH and Hearn are on dazn and they barely work with each other and can’t stand each other. On the other hand, boxers need to understand supply and demand, what the fans truly demand that’s what the fans should get. No fans, no boxing. Boxing is the only sport when the best avoid fighting the best. “If the money is right” needs to be the most hated statement and mindset in boxing

You have a point there, but we humans have always loved brutal sports and will pay good to see it and there are athletes that are good at it and choose to do it for that money because it's what they do best and for most it's a way out of poverty. For some like Mexican fighters there is no other way but to fight your way out unlike the millions you are referring to. Would you tell a Dr. to get a regular job because one hospital doesn't agree to pay him what he deserves or does he go work at a different hospital?
