This isn't rating Martin high - again, I think he threw the Joshua fight for a payday and would have been more successful fighting Arreola first - but Martin was as legitimate of a champion as Crawford was when he was taking vacant lineals. Let's be consistent.
Would he? Martin is useless, the very definition of a paper champion, and the IBF stripped Fury long before his 'retirement' but i take your point.

The guy is a Fury/Usyk hater. I wonder why.

Tyson's just promoting Franny up a bit. He's doing what he needs to do to sell the fight he's fighting. What's really sad is boxing fans co-signing the idea that Fran is a better opponent for Fury than Josh.

Maybe you don't think of AJ as elite. Maybe you always saw Joshua as less than Wilder, then Fury, and now Usyk too. Maybe you're not sure he beats Ortiz. Cool, all that ****, yeah I get it, but also, Joshua probably KO's Francis. He is a x2 unified HW champion and Franny's just an MMA fighter.

Remember, Brock Lesnar punched so hard it made men do backflips ... until he didn't.

Rhonda was such a good boxer she covered Ring and could beat up May ... until she got KTFO

Conor's striking was so elite he was going beat up May too ... until he got walked through

Point is, Franny's fighting Tyson so he's a no hoper. If he was fighting Joshua, Wilder, Ruiz, Usyk, hell even Ortiz, he'd still be a no hoper.

Conor got to cash out on Money, but, did it take Money to walk through him? Bet some **** ass like AB could have too. Bet Josesito Lopez ****s Conor up.

Joshua compared to top BOXERS, okay, talk ****, I may join in. Joshua compared to Francis Ngannou, yeah, I reckon Joshua's the boxer there.

Typical Fury mind games and bull****tery. Then when he fights some random bum that no champion should be wasting their time with he talks them up like they're great.

Where did Fury say it's not happening? The fight is signed whatever Fury says. You might have noticed that he's unpredictable in that regard, even on a day to day basis.

You are hoping Joshua can get it via mandatory? Joshua was offered the fight twice in the past 12 months (in Dec. and in Sept.) but refused. But you are hoping that a guy who got a voluntary offer for a belt right away and at 40% but refused, will now make his way through to a mandatory position and fight Fury for 20-25% after waiting 12-18 months?

Do you think AJ will come anywhere near Fury? Can't you see Eddie is already planning an escape route for Joshua to go for the leftover/vacant belt instead of facing Fury or even Wilder or Zhang? He can fight Wilder for WBC mandatory or Zhang for WBO mandatory but they want to wait to fight Hrgovic for when a belt is vacated.

I absolutely think he will. He's signed to fight him before... and Fury is the biggest fight out there for him.

Fury's 'offers' have long ceased to be worth entertaining if you've already got any kind of plan in place. And in this case the whole world already knew who Fury was going to be fighting.

WBC mandatory has to be coming. The only fighters above him are inactive and not looking like they'll fight any time soon.

The only time AJ agreed was before his losses to Usyk. Since then, AJ has avoided Fury and has been fighting low-level fighters. I hope he builds his confidence back and does it. But you need to realize that to become WBC mandatory, he has to fight Wilder or Ruiz and that as a mandatory he probably doesn't even get 40%. Also, WBC aren't known to be enforcing their mandatories too much and if Tyson is unified, he has to go through the rest of the sanctioning bodies before WBC.

My guess is Eddie/AJ plans to avoid Fury and look for any belts that will get vacated. If he does get one, then we'll start all over again with who's the A-side and B-side and I do not see that fight happening anytime soon.
