I fail to see how that has anything to do with showtime leaving boxing…literally the two topics are unrelated
Man, these dudes stay paranoid about "wokeness".

They literally live in fear of not being racist.

ESPN+ vs. DAZN. Boxing gets more niche and hidden.

I've enjoyed all the fights on Showtime Boxing. But...no product, no profit. Simple. Showtime will lose a lot of subscribers like me.

I have so much faith in the Harvard educated business acumen of Al Haymon that I think he can get any deal he wants at this point based off the strength of a phenomenal 2023 for PBC. I hope that if and when they do go to Amazon, big fights are made, PPV is less, the production is more entertaining, and that Amazon has a big say in its fights to the point where Amazon itself is responsible for the promotion. Traditional promoters are no longer needed, indeed they are a big reason boxing is where it is
Yes'sir!!!! I'm hoping that the big deal that is about to be announced is PBC and TR are joining forces. Either on ESPN or Prime. If Showtime leaving boxing means that PBC and TR join forces then this is a blessing in disguise!!

It’s so crazy to think of how much great boxing used to be on tv. HBO, Showtime, ESPN, hell, I think even the USA network used to have fights on regularly. The young fans get ****ing hosed out of so much these days. The presentation of boxing is literally worse in almost every way.

Meanwhile apparently the abomination that is KSI v Tommy Fury did 1,300,000 PPV buys. Think Tyson Fury will eclipse that in either of his upcoming fights? That would be sad if he didn't.
