Hearn sounds like a broken record...He fought Franklin and Helenis on the strength that he was going to be matched with Wilder , these were 'warm ups' so the question is who are they going dig up for another 'warm up' ?..pathetic!

Hearns not negotiating with Malik he’s not the guy who goes over the legalities for him making a fight so he’s using Joshua’s name as clout again . Seems to me Wilders delusional behavior rubs off on anyone long enough around him .
Hearn and Finkle are in communication, this guy Malik has zero to do with that fight being made unless he actually persuaded Wilder into avoiding it but that’s done behind closed doors . Malik has already made comments suggesting they are o.k with this fight not happening so really who’s he trying to fool ? He then made more idiotic comments about how Clubber Lang went after Rocky not his trainer but he’s actually the one mentioning Joshua not Wilder and half the time it’s not even positive ? Smh
You know who the idiots are on here ,they’re the ones blaming the the active fighter with his promoter asking other sites to hold it while the others are doing zero and both sides said it wasn’t anyone’s fault because of the back track from the Saudis ..plenty of ****** to go around here though that’s the only consistency on here . These non-starter Updates serve only to frustrate me.
The Ring Magazine world ratings currently show Wilder as #2 and Joshua #3 of the 2,577 Active heavyweights.
In the olden Days, if #2 fought #3, this would be regarded as a major fight, without the need for inventing fake "title" belts sold to the promotion in order to give the fight meaning.
That was an honest approach.
Being #2 or 3 is merit. Holding a belt signifies having good connections.
In today's marketing scheme, If the strip-tease Alphabet bodies were to start their stripping act now, Wilder v Joshua would be their absolute best pairing available to fill a vacancy, according to the Ring as Fury and Usyk are both tied up.
Wilder and his team have been begging Joshua to fight, and Joshua himself seems game. Wilder has been begging Ruiz for a US supremacy fight as well, but Ruiz and his team have balked.
Being ranked #2 and 3, and both being former champions and defining figures of the era, the fight is obviously huge. Furthermore, it is guaranteed excitement for as long as it lasts.
The freelance structure of this sport certainly does has it's downside in denying the fans what they want.

I'd like to see Wilder stay active. I know that he's never stopped training and is always in superb shape, and I understand that Wilder has won 10 more fights than Fury, 17 more than Joshua and 22 more than Usyk, so he's got no need to catch up to any of them. But he's really rested now and is best served by staying busy.
I think the Winner of Simon Kean vs. Joseph Parker would be a perfect level fight, if Ruiz is committed to overpricing his services. But the Rumor today is that Wilder is considering Makhmudov, which is a nice, bold move.
