Why should I respect a guy that doesn't respect himself? The guy is a cheater, he is been know to take ridiculous advantages in his fights, he's been a weight bully all his career, he even put a flyweight in the hospital and asked his brother to take the blame, he brings fighters from lower division and after winning the fight, which he was favored to win by a long margin, declare he is the best fighter of the world, he's been favored by crooked judges and the WBC created a belt just for him to avoid good competition. If he beats benavidez or Morell jr, without controversy, I'd be the first to congratulate him. Actually, he doesn't have to win, by taking the fight it will show that he cares about his legacy.
