Also Black Americans like Trout, Jacobs, Kirland, and Caleb Plant. Again he still has the best Resume, he beat all the Champion at 168. What's you excuse. He cleaned the divison in less than 12 month, but since you are hater you will find something negative.Last edited by boxingitis; 10-14-2023, 10:58 PM.Comment

Trout: The right guy won so the scorecards meant nothing.
Floyd: The right guy won so the scorecards meant nothing.
Lara: It was close and Lara stunk out the joint. The right guy won in my opinion.
GGG 1: Canelo was not declared the winner. It was officially ruled a draw. The fight was close but Golovkin maybe should have edged it. This is what all the ”benefitted from crooked scorecards” complaints really boil down to, one single fight in Canelo’s entire career.
Bivol: The right guy won so the scorecards meant nothing.Comment

Lara and ggg 1. Lara make him look like an electrical fan hitting nothing but air, most of the bodywork was on the guard, cleanest punches and controlling the pace and ring belonged to Lara, just like ggg1.
ps. Watch the fight without sound and score it yourself. Be honest. We know was a robbery because one judge saw Lara win two rounds when in reality should have been a clear decision for EL.
Like I said, all the scorecard crap boils down to just 1 or 2 fights. Fights that were close.
If you can actually beat Canelo cleanly you do get the win. Like Floyd and Bivol did. But that’s just it, you have to REALLY beat him not leave it close and up for debate.Last edited by ShoulderRoll; 10-15-2023, 07:43 AM.Comment

Hiding behind the right guy won bu!!shyte, tell it to GGG. You claiming ggg maybe should have edged it tells us you absolutely have a biased opinion. 8-4 is not maybe should have edged it. Again, can you name even one fighter that has ever benefited from crooked scorecards more than Canelo has?
That’s it. A whopping two fights. In every other case of “crooked scorecards” involving Canelo the right guy won the fight in the end regardless, so the scorecards had no ill effect on the outcome.Last edited by ShoulderRoll; 10-15-2023, 07:45 AM.Comment

As has been been brought to light in this thread Canelo “benefited from crooked scorecards” once to get a draw and MAYBE also against Lara, in a fight that many give him a win in since Lara stunk it out.

Sugar Ray Leonard can be said to have gotten more gift scorecard decisions to his benefit than that. One for the second fight with Thomas Hearns and one for Marvin Hagler,

Those “crooked scorecards” only altered the rightful winner of a Canelo fight one time…for Golovkin 1. Maybe for Lara as well but that’s a reach so I’ll throw it out.

You can admit it. There’s never been a fighter that has CONSISTENTLY benefited from crooked scorecards more than Canelo has. That’s just a fact………..Comment

No. Leonard absolutely deserved the decision over Hagler (phuck that hurts to say, Hagler is my all time favorite fighter). Hearns 2? Maybe……

So Sugar Ray Leonard benefiting from scorecards twice is more than Canelo benefiting one time against GGG.Comment

And Lara, there's no way canelo won 7 much less 9 rounds. I know how Lara stunk the place, but he had a partner in that one, didn't he? You can't blame Lara for fighting his and controlling the fight, it was up to canelo to disrupt the game plan, he couldn't and that's why the crooked scorecards. I agreed with you in Leonard-Hearns II, I like Hagler in that fight, but when I heard it was at 12 rounds I knew he made a mistake, in my opinion he, Leonard would have had lost in a 15 rounds contest. I was disappointed but not surprised at all.Comment
