Calling a 40 year old a fast rising heavyweight tells you all you need to know about the state of the heavyweight division. At least Zhang wants to actually fight.

What baffles me the most is he’s realistically a Parker level guy if that so B on a good day/C tier type who never capitalised on his lucky break, so It's beyond comprehension that Fury,Wilder, AJ and Zhang's team have all said this guy is pricing himself out of fights.

Where has this ego or sense of self worth come from!? because he certainly hasn't done anything to demand the numbers he was allegedly asking for.

It's having millions in the bank, parades held in his honor, streets named in his honor in two countries and being, arguably the best Latin big man ever? Just my guess.
But the man needs to fight.

Actually I think Ruiz beats Zhang. Zhang is a KO artist, he needs a stoppage to win. he looks bad going distance.

I believe Ruiz can go distance and win.

As a fairly big Ruiz fan, this sucks. Obviously, Ruiz is fine with who he is and where he is at, but the man is a fun fighter. It is a huge loss that he is completely uninterested in boxing anymore.

I still prefer a Wallin-Zhang fight. But at least Parker and Ortiz are names and Zhang is looking for an opponent. That puts him up on a ton of other fighters in this division.

Zhang v Ruiz is not ‘ the thriller in Manila’ just a decent top ten heavyweight fight that should in todays rates make the pair a couple of million dollars each , it seems at least Ruiz wants around ten times that figure to fight , completely delusional

Ruiz is hard to negotiate with these days. The good life till the money gets low we can imagine.

Deontay Wilder and his team tried Very hard to pull Andy into the ring with Wilder (In what would have been a great match up for the US title), to no avail. Here is Ruiz again pricing himself out a another highly relevant fight between top tier contenders.

Parker, I beleive will be Very lucky to get past hard hitting, amateur pedigreed Simon Kean this month, so Zhilei Zhang, Mr. Step up 2023, is still seeking a bonified stay active opponent.
Why not one of the more solid Australian or New Zealand fringe contenders? This for the Asian-Pacific title.
