Cory Spinks is pretty damn underrated. He became undisputed champion of the world at 147, won two belts at 154, and challenged for the lineal title at 160 but people treat him like he's Julio Cesar Chavez Jr or something. I'm not saying Cory was an all time great or anything, but he deserves more respect than he gets. People tend to lump him in with other fighters who only got to where they were because of their last names and that's not fair.
Most underrated fighter in your lifetime?

By the "boxing world" do you actually mean the online boxing community? Like reading Twitter (which everyone should cease doing), reading online comments can give one a skewed perception of reality. Your average person doesn't post, or posts very little. The most motivated posters often have anger and/or mental health problems, lack of constructive hobbies/social life and slating successful people and being provocative gives them meaning. They make up a tiny percentage of overall boxing viewership.Comment
