It will be Canelo Benavidez next May (or Andrade if he somehow wins).
Jermall's career is dead ............ as of now an 80% chance it stays dead. He has 2 years rust coming off an under whelming performance - he's not Sugar Ray. Canelo can fight Benavidez in May and Crawfor or Bivol next September - Bivol at 168 adds a lot of intrigue for me but pretty sure Crawford sells better

It’s dead until Charlo fights and beats someone relevant. Not a tune up win against Jose Benavidez who’s a blown up welterweight. Charlo should have go fight a dude like Plant to earn a Canelo payday.

In the meantime, Canelo should fight David Benavidez assuming he deals with Andrade, but I think its obvious he doesn’t fancy that fight.

Jermell is the better of the Charlos, I can only imagine how bad Jermall would be against Canelo!

I also agree with Hearn that the fight set was very basic but that is PBC for ya.
No fireworks or elaborate ring walks like Matchroom did for Canelo and does for AJ.
PBC did the same thing with Canelo vs. Plant. Just music and some basic visuals.

It also seems like PBC is against using ring girls in between rounds!

Only there is any hype for Jermall vs Canelo is if Jermall moves up and KOs Plant.

Jermell didn't just kill the Jermall vs Canelo fight, he also killed the Crawford vs Canelo fight.

Nobody except Crawford stans believe he can beat Canelo after moving up three weight classes anymore after that Jermell performance.

Jermall can regenerate interest in the fight by KOing Plant in spectacular fashion as I said. Beat Plant better than Canelo did.

But Mall is so mentally weak and immature I don't think he even understands the concept of earning a mega fight and building himself and his form for one.

The logical thing to do is, after his tune up against Jose Benavidez on the David Benavidez vs Andrade card, is to fight again on an undercard, except this time on the undercard of the Canelo vs the winner of Benavidez vs Andrade.

It could be a sort of double header, with him vs Pant as co main and Canelo vs winner of Benavidez vs Andrade as main, with the winners fighting each other in september.

Jermall doesn't move as much as jermell does. And jermall has a better jab. So I would expect more action in a jermall fight with canelo. But, I'm good on that.

Benavidez vs Andrade winner in May. Then bivol rematch in September. Bivol is a free agent after his next fight. So there's no roadblocks.

PBC is the obvious next stop for bivol. Unless he can get the Beterbiev fight with top rank. pbc comes with options of canelo, Benavidez, Plant, Morrell for bivol
