What happened to "Canelo needs to face bruthas"

There's always a narrative, but let's be honest, Canelo has fueled a lot of it himself by saying he'd never fight Andrade, and refusing to fight Benavidez over and over, making excuses about how he doesn't want to fight Mexicans, but now his team is talking about Munguía instead of Benavidez.
But there's always ****** people trying to make it about race in everything. Far more correct to say it's more about money and ego.Comment

Doesn't mean they have to be the same exact size. Regardless, Canelo and Jermell were two weight classes apart. Doesn't matter what you think they should be fighting at. One has been making JMW, while the other hasn't been able to make it for years.Comment

That's what I've been saying for years, they kept saying he avoids the black athletic boxer, I kept asking where are they? Where are these superior boxers at 168-175? Everyone kept repeating Charlos (both of them and Andrade).
Now that Charlo got obliterated and the other Charlo won't fare any better is their best bet is Andrade? LOL.
The "British/Euro bums" everyone kept crying about put up a better fight than Charlo.Comment

Everyone remembers "caneloweight"......155lbsComment

It's an odd accusation to make given he has fought Jacobs, Kirkland, Mayweather, Mosley, Trout, and now Charlo. Who else was there that brought the PPV revenue with them? Floyd fought the same amount of black fighters and they were B-level, coming off a loss or shot.Comment

May 9, 2023, long before Canelo signed on to PBC.Originally posted by El_MeroI belive that was at 154 and mostly at 160. Aint no brothas at 168. And for damn sure NOBODY, not even Mell called for an Alvarez fight. Only way pbc signed Alvarez is they let him pick his opps. And who'd he choose 1st? Yeah, that fight went the way real boxing fans knew it would, especially with Mell being out over a year. Hell, Amir Khan did better when he moved up 2 weight classes to fight Ginger....maybe because he'd not been out for as long? Either way, it was a bore to stream. The fam n homies who were at bars or parties watching the fight even mentioned how much of a let down the fight was, and they're Alvarez fans.
If Ginger don't find his balls and fight the winner of Benavidez/Andrade next May, then he should be stripped, but we all know puerco Sulaiman loves the Alvarez money so it wont happen.
And yall fanboys will continue to sick his duck from the back and claim he's the best ever.
