Was he 14 pounds smaller though? They certainly were operating in divisions 14 pounds apart but that's not quite the same thing. I happen to think super-welter and super-middle are unnecessary divisions. Charlo's identical twin brother operates at middleweight comfortably, historically Canelo and Charlo would have both been middleweights.

We all knew charlo had no business at 168, especially after a long layoff and never fighting at the weight, stop with the bs. Why he doesn't fight benavidez, andrade or even Morell jr? Tell me why?
