I have no doubt that AJ vs Wilder would still be a stadium filling, big PPV selling fight in the UK. If you define "fans" as people who would pay to see you fight, whether they want you to win or not, Wilder has more fans over here than in the US.

Considering they're funding Fury VS Ngannou then I don't think that kind of logic applies.

How about asking Hearn and Finkel why this fight can only be done in the Middle East?

As with most things in life, more money just seems to cause more problems in boxing. DAZN and Matchroom certainly aren't solely to blame for the overspending woes in this sport, but they definitely exacerbated the problem. We've got rookie fighters in the sport who've achieved nothing at all railing on about being A-side of something and other contenders rejecting career opportunities because they aren't willing to cash out just yet. It's great that elite fighters are getting set up for comfortable retirements, but big money seems to be hurting everyone, especially the fans.

The best performance of AJ's career was the Usyk rematch?!?

Yeah, but he loves the camera so much. A mean interviewer asked him a question, and what was Eddie going to do, be honest?

In fairness, the judges decision caused AJ to have a severe mental breakdown in the ring. Was a good while after the Lewis fight that Oliver McCall had a decent fight.

Zhang chins tentative AJ immediately. Remember how AJ refused to fight Dempsey McKeen because he was Southpaw, and AJ admittedly can't fight southpaws (he said this after the Usyk fight)
