IDK, I have watched Canelo-Lara 3-4 times and I cannot understand why so many people think Lara got robbed. IMO, Canelo simply landed the more effective punches (the only criterion that actually matters) and pressed the action throughout the entire fight. Thoug he had some fancy moments, giving Lara that decision would have truly been a robbery. I do think Canelo should have 4 losses on his record (Floyd, GGG 2X, Bivol), but losses happen when you consistently fight elite competition.

I can accept that. Lara vs Canelo could have been a draw as well.

One takeaway from Saturday night we can all agree on. Canelo fanboys are ******.

If any other boxer was sitting on the belts and ducking their mandatories for a year....while trying to pull cruisers down to 180 with rehydration clauses...or pulling a 154 inactive for 16 months coming off a hand injury guy up two full weight classes....if any other fighter did the ****** s h i t Canelo is doing, they'd call him out on it.

They don't care about boxing, they care about Canelo like he is their superhero. It's mindboggling. No one is saying that Canelo has to fight a killer every fight. But his last few fights were an ass kicking by the 2nd best 175 pound guy, a UD and poor performance against an old GGG, going the distance with John Ryder, and now a UD against a 154 guy who barely fought back.
