Charlo did ok by not getting KOd. He should have built up to 168 by fighting a couple times. I expected Canelo to finish him before 10 rds.

The truth is he was never going to win this fight. He didnt go up to fight way outside his range to challenge Anvi Yildirim. He went to fight Canelo and he was not going to win. All you had to do was look at Canelo's head and back which are twice the size of Jermells. Fuq the height. About the 4th round he knew he wasn't going to win and he made a business decision. cant blame him because he still has a career at 154. Had he decided to go all out then his career may have been over.

He already felt the difference even before the fight was announced. 80% of fighting is all mental.

Like I have mentioned in another thread, it's a money-grab fight as described by his own fans.

He probably made as much for this fight as his net worth so I don't blame him for stepping in for his brother.
Now go back to 154 so Bud can KO you

'He went up for the payday. I think that as a professional, he didn't step in the ring expecting to lose, but as a professional he told himself it was okay once the reality of the task set in'.

Agree, truth be told it was a good payday for both men. Canelo didn't get hurt. Mell got beat up a bit but he'll be fine. Onwards & upwards to Benavidez for Canelo & Tim Tszyu for Mell. The massive problem for Canelo is Bivol saying he will come to 168. Canelo doesn't want the rematch but it is looking bad if he ducks that Bivol smoke! He best hope Beterbiev v Bivol comes off!

I watched the fight and I think it was pretty obvious that charlo was out of his league way too strong , he is lucky to have made it to the end
Canelo is a great fighter but there are plenty of haters out there so crawl back under your rocks
