For sure. He wasn't ever going to win but he should have tried anyway.

I don’t know what fans of his saw in him even at 154. He doesn’t have one great name on his resume. He’s been hiding out in a weak division all these years. Not sure why anyone thought his would be competitive.

            Just simply too small.

Can't expect someone to move up two weigh classes and do much. Those instances are extremely rare.

I wasn't disappointed at all. It wws expected. I saw him being interviewed (I think it was during the Crawford vs Spence fight) the dude gave me dope fiend vibes. His brother didn't look any better in the back room before this fight. The outcome was pretty predictable.

I am not disappointed, because the fight went just as I expected.

And that should be enough with these mismatches like Canelo fighting guys 2-3 divisions smaller.

He was an underdog, sure. But don't move up if you're just doing it for the paycheck. Charlo stayed on his bike and on the ropes. Didn't even try to win. It's a pathetic showing and terrible for the sport.

Why be disappointed when that was what was expected? Even the long promotion period didn't show Charlo in a fiery mood. What he did was sing kumbaya to the superstar of boxing. He seemed content just getting a retirement paycheck, content in whether he's deserving of it or not.

I'm just glad it's over, and glad I didn't post anything leading up to the fight. No sense in hyping it up.

With as menacing as Charlo acts and all the "Lions Only" mantra he speaks, I expected him to put a similar amount of effort as Kell Brook put forth when he went up and challenged Golovkin. Kell got in his licks and won some rounds before Golovkin caved in his eye socket.

Instead we were treated to Jermell capitulating in the ring in exchange for being allowed to go the distance. I guess Kell has a little more lion in him and Jermell has a little more lamb.
