I always felt like Salita struggled to get Wallin fights after Fury. Salita can only get his fighters big fights as the "B-side" and the Swede was a bit too dangerous as an opponent (durable southpaw who can box). In my opinion, Franklin got the Whyte and AJ fights because he was viewed as less of a risk than Wallin.
I agree about the less risk point. Thanks for the info. I thought he was still with Salita. Makes sense why we are not getting those weekly articles from Salita that Wallin is in the mix for a potential fight…

I don’t know why but I want to see him beat up Jermaine Franklin. I feel like Wallin should have got the Whyte & Joshua fights not Franklin.

Bakole will not take the risk maybee if it will be final eliminator fight. Kabayel for sure will not take the risk. Did he ever took a risk? Ok, maybee Derek Chisora was only risk he took. Takam would accept for sure and maybee Ajagba. Demirezen did not fight for over one year. Maybee Hrgovic because Usyk signed Fury fight.

From what I understand, Hrgovic and Wallin will be ranked #1 and #2 in IBF respectively. We have the unification but I think IBF mandatory is next after that (or after the likely rematch). Would it be beneficial for Hrgovic to fight Wallin in the interim (or could he just take an easier stay busy fight)?

Hrgovic and Wallin would be an interesting matchup. Both big guys, the Croatian has the definite edge in power but Otto is a southpaw and does have some boxing skills.

Yes IBF mandatory is next, but who knows when. Demsey McKean and ZZ are southpaw... Hrgovic was getting ready for Usyk so he is ready for southoaw.
It is not beneficial for Hrgovic but he would accept I believe. It would be a interesring for sure.
I can only say for sure that this year HW division is having big cleaning.
JJ is out, DDD is out, Gasiev is out, Yoka, Martin.... Ruiz is doing nothing... Zhan Kossobutskiy made step back. Ortiz is probably finished.... Maybee some of them would accept fight to get back in the line. Like JJ or DDD....Zhan.

Gassiev should go back to a cruiserweight IMO. His style and power is useless at hw. he looks like Canelo at 175, terrible.

Two southpaws, it could be interesting.
