Paquio won't have to worry about that because he is going to get KO by Cotto

yes, but if he beats cotto it is at a catchweight.

pac has no business fighting at 147lbs
but i dont think mayweather can make 140lbs, well actually i think he can but he doesnt like to dehydrate, so he wont fight at 140lbs

pac should offer mayweather 60% of the purse, if mayweather will fight @ 140lbs.

That's given the unlikely scenario where Pac both beats cotto (very possible), and then can't resolve negotiations with May...

My only point is there are several possibilities
Shane would make more money facing Mayweather and Mayweather vs Shane is the easier fight to make. See what Al had to say, that being the reason.

if it did pac would weigh in at 146 and on fight night weigh in at 148
mayweather would weigh in at 147 and on fight night would weigh in around 152-153 (im assuming).

          imo
if the fight happens @ 147 pac should get 55/45.
          I see another catchweight happening.
          LOL@ Pacquiao the Catchweight King

IF Manny gets by Cotto and Floyd/Manny begins negotiations....
I'm willing to bet that PBF will be the one to take a smaller cut
just to get Manny in the ring and beat him up like he did with
Oscar and Hatton. Floyd is always looking for the next biggest
opportunity and for him to pass up beating Manny and take his
spot again as P4P number one with his ego, I just don't see it
happening. In my mind tho, I'm doubting that Manny gets passed
Cotto, Cotto/Floyd March 2010, then the winner of that fights
Mosley, so it will end up being Floyd/Mosley because there's no
way I believe that Cotto can beat Floyd.

Arum is messed up for even slightly talking about a fight with Mayweather-Pacquiao. Why won't he talk about a possible fight with Cotto-Mayweather?

I said it as a joke before but now i think i think it's possible. That Arum getting Cotto back for threatening to leave TR for GBP once the contract expires, back when Cotto was angry at Arum for defending Margarito. Now Arum is putting him in with Pacquiao for his last big pay check before Cotto isn't relevant anymore. Although it's a 2-year contract that Cotto signed with Arum I can tell after Pacquiao, Arum will probably have Cotto fighting for vacant belts against C class fighters on Top Rank independent PPVs. Most likely headlining Latin Fury cards.

Edit: Arum knows that Pacquiao will stop Cotto and that will make Cotto look real bad. That's what Arum wants, he wants to keep Cotto in the shadows for the rest of his contract just like he did to Mayweather.

147, Cotto came into the weigh in against Clottey at 146. So we're talking 1 pound here. Mayweather isn't gonna go down to 140. After seeing him at the weigh in against Marquez, I no longer believe he can make 140, 144 he can. Listen, Pacquiao would have the WBO. Shane has the WBA and might take Berto's WBC title. Someone has to try and unify the belts. Why would Pacquiao mess all that up? Why would they even allow it?

OK. Even if i concede that there's a third-order possibility of a pac-mosley fight, what are the "several other" big fight possibilities for Pac?

Syf, i think you aren't giving full weight to the business relationships between GBP, Team Mayweather and HBO. You are looking too narrowly.
