2nd. even if they agree to terms with the money, guess what, sticking point number 2, what weight will they fight in?

Only way pacquiao can rightly ask for a 50-50 deal is if pac vs cotto does better than numero uno. If it fails to reach a million, pac has to swallow his pride & take the lesser %.

But if pac vs cotto does better than numero uno, significantly better, then this fight will be headed for harder negotiations than a israeli/*********** peace deal & more than likely not be made.
The fight should take place at 147.

floyd needs pac for the payday. floyd must concede 50/50.

floyd will never make the same deal the hopkins/rjj has... floyd didn't even try to KO jmm.
        Um, you are wrong.

If Pac goes and fights some busta - or even a contender at 140 (of which there are no decent names), then that hurts him. Especially when the world is asking for Pac-Mayweather.

By contrast, PBF would still have a mega-fight avail with Mosley.

Please tell me a fight that Pac can make which is bigger than Mayweather-Mosley. Thanks.

I chuckle at all of these "Pac isn't focused on money" statements when Pac is the one taking a briefcase full of cash in the back of a limousine, Pac is the one having very difficult negotiations with DLH, Pac was the one who was on-again-off-again with Hatton over money. Facts seem to always get in the way.

You and i have found common ground twice now within a week. People will start to gossip.

If the entire boxing universe realizes/thinks that Floyd is the bigger draw, and Pac insists on the bigger/equal cut, then MP would obviously be "ducking by pricing himself out". That would be the perception.*

The commercial success of Firepower is important. I said before that this fight is a referendum on Pac's commercial viability.

This fight needs to do 1.2- 1.4 at minimum.

*...like Hopkins asking Jones for 50-50 when nobody knew him.

I wish they would just settle it 50-50 and 60-40 to the winner by knockout like Hopkins and Jones did.

So could Pac, for that matter... The Mosley fight is there for either man if they want it

The working date of March 13 is being tossed around. Arum warned that Pacquiao, and everyone else, should not look past the November 14 clash with WBO welterweight champion Miguel Cotto. [details]
If Cotto-Pac sells less PPV's than Mayweather-Marquez there is NO WAY Pac can even negotiate a 50/50 split
