Yeah i can see it now what about Zhang, what about Hgrovic, what about Ruiz, what about AJ, meanwhile their favourite fighter is Tank Davis pushing 30 and fought nobody. Gotta laugh at this point.

It was never about Fury or Usyk avoiding each other through fear it was always just about the money and now we are back to where we were in the Middle East for loads of it and they are both happy ...Roll on this is the top fight boxing needed..

That's all it was ever about, neither team truly wanted it at Wembley. It was Usyk's team that actually pulled out of negotiations and it wasn't just over Fury being difficult.

The two fighters were having a ****** back and forth on videos but the two teams behind the scenes were probably saying it's ****** and better to wait for a Saudi date and make for better money.

That's why I've always been sure the fight happens. You dont get as rich as those guys by leaving huge money on the table and making the fight a bit earlier for far less money. If any teams agreed to that and are supposedly handling the business side of it, they would need firing. That's why Egis Klimas pulled the plug on the negotiations. They all want their cut and they knew what money was in this fight in the right location.

I can't see some rich place not willing to host it at some point, so it's all about the fighters being willing also

AJ v Zhang in China would be great too. Zhang is 40 his mandatory shot won't be happening for about another year, so he should just be looking to make as much money as possible at this age. But really, I don't see it happening, China doesn't seem overly interested in investing in major sporting events these days. And no way Hearn let's AJ fight Zhang unless there's serious dough involved. I think the middle Eastern countries would put up more money for him to fight Wilder than Zhang.

Of course Wilder-Joshua is still a massive fight even if it is not as big as it once was. Fury-Usyk is great and for undisputed (for those who care about it) but Wilder-Joshua would have been bigger had it happened while both were undefeated. Usyk is a good technical boxer but not a massive star and not being able to speak English is a let down because making massive events requires lots of promotional stuff. Still, he is funny and Fury-Usyk press conference would be fun to watch but not as much as if Usyk spoke English.

Yes, China is unlikely to put a site fee but I think Zhang-Joshua can be a big event in itself in the UK...certainly more money than what AJ has been earning fighting Franklin and Helenius. But I also see the landscape changing and boxers eyeing opportunities.

Zhang, Hrgovic, and Dubois (if his mandatory fight is reinstated) will now see things differently. Until now, they were eyeing to fight Usyk but now two things have changed. Firstly, the wait is going to be long particularly if Fury-Usyk has a rematch clause. Secondly, the winner (I am favoring Fury to win) would give up some of the belts so these mandatory challengers would probably be looking at the #2 fighter in the sanctioning body to fight for the vacant belt. This means the race to get to the #2 spot will increase or lobbying to make the title fights with another boxer with more drawing power. The fragmented belts would have multiple title fights and possibly be close to one another since we are no longer waiting in a queue.

I can see exciting fights happening in 2024 - Fury vs Usyk, Wilder vs Joshua, and lots of hustle and bustle in the rest of the division to get to a position, possibly even on the undercard of these fights.

IF this actually happens, my heart is with Usyk but my noggin is telling me that Fury will demolish him most likely in under eight rounds.
